Right Keyword Choice for Google Ranking

Topics: right keyword choice (selection of Focused, relevant Kws) , three level of google optimization

Ok, now you know what you really need from Google optimization. Either you're planning a 'many-keywords-ranking' or a 'just-a-couple-of-keywords-ranking' you have to decide which keywords describe your site best. Choosing the right keywords is like choosing the This tutorial before a war: make an intelligent decision and you will start a step ahead.

ALWAYS Select Focused, Relevant Keywords

Think about who could use or buy your product or service, and focus on those keywords. By choosing highly relevant keywords, you will achieve two important goals.
1.you will increase your chances of reaching the highest Google ranking. By focusing on niche keywords that are most relevant to your own business, you reduce the chance of overlap with other companies or businesses selling products or services with similar broader keywords and keyword phrases.
2., you increase your chances of converting your hits to a paying customer.
TIP: Google ignores most stop words (like IN, THE, FOR...), so don't include them in your keywords' decision.

Examples:

a. EASY LEVEL : your website is about aluminium ladders. You produce them, you sell them. Your best product is named "traxladder". Your showroom is in Bristol, Uk. Chosen keywords could be: aluminium, ladder, ladders, Bristol, Uk, production, traxladder. These are the keywords you'll optimize your site for, including all the combinations (aluminium ladders, ladders production etc etc....)

b. INTERMEDIATE LEVEL : your website is about your Porsche, Ferrari and Bmw showroom in Berlin, Germany. This is considered an intermediate level ranking because even if keywords are few (porsche, ferrari, bmw, showroom, berlin, germany + other optional keywords like pictures, specifications...) there are some keywords that are very used like FERRARI. In this case you have to pay great (really great) attention to site optimization. You may be interested in getting an high ranking with all combinations, "ferrari cars" too: this is hard, but not impossible.

c. HARD LEVEL : Hard work, hard times and frustration are what you have to face when optimizing a big site like a CDs e-commerce site. Complications come because you try to high-rank a website whose keywords are "hot"... Cd, Cds, buy, sale, and a frequently updated list of artists (most of Lycos top 50 research are singers!) like Britney Spears, Eminem, Foo Fighters...
Another complication is that e-commerce site usually have dynamic pages whose url is the result of two or three variables (http://www.cd-shop.com/cd/rec?67388=what.cod.A56) and this is not something Google really appreciates. Site optimization MUST be almost paranoid but, once again, it's not impossible to get amazing results.
